Since i still have one more class to finish, i wont be able to do much til after monday...... So on tuesday i'll continue on modeling out the character and by thursday he should be finished.....

I forgot..... When is our next meeting?

We are considering changing the day to wed or fri so we can go to that play test at high rez and then have the meeting. so if wed around 6 we have our meeting and at 3 we meet at high rez for play test sound like a good idea to everyone let's try to do that. Another line on your resume.

we still meeting next week? I will come. I had to miss the last one because of final exams. Im glad the quarter is over seriously. Im hoping to have some level work posted by this tuesday as well as some more monster designs

I'm down for Wed or Fri. But that of course starts the following week right?

Is this meeting after the Hi Rez Testing at 6pm or before still at the normal time of 4pm

It depends on who can do this. We would go to the play test depending on what time it started and hold our meeting afterwards on wed or fri. If you can do this let me know so we can factor in who can go and who can't. and did you forget your username and password already rob

ok, im confused............. are we talking about this week or next week, When are we meeting?

Due to recent development, I will be delaying the modeing, but im sure i'll be finished with it by monday night.

I was still confused as to the meetings schedule, nevertheless, something unexpected came up....... so if we did have a meeting, sorry i couldnt attend...........
For future meetings i would like to see a schedule, of days we'll be meeting, so that there wont be any further confusion...

hmm,..... didnt think buying the ps3, would consume my time..... well, anyway, im ready to buckle down and get to some serious work done.........
With that being said, i had a question about the characters modeling, Am i responsible for the in-game character as-well? Im asking b/c if i am, then i need to do some adjustment accordingly.
For example: The mouth, is the in-game character gonna be opening his mouth to speak. or is he gonna be mute in-game?

ummm.... probably no talking for cg character but in-game may. are you going to come to the meeting tomorrow? we'll be there at 2:30 to go to the playtest. if you need a ride and would like to go i'm sure we can fit you in. if you don't want to go to the playtest we should be back around 5:30 or so call me 256-473-4882 if we aren't there. Let's just meet downstairs outside.

There is no in alternate camera angle within Unreal Tournament 3 only first person.

But there is a mod out there, called action cam, which will then allows you to play over the shoulder via Gears of War and Mass Effect.
Not sure if we can apply this mod to our game or not, couldn't find any info on that.

I need one of the programmers to check out how all that works. That's slightly over my head.

Pete, don't forget to post the scans of the levels we drew up, so I can get started.

hmmm I can't really work on textures and Backgrounds without a layout of the level I did however make a a mock up of what you gave me awhile back it is on the yahoo forum under photos> level design
if you can e-mail me the layout of the level and I can get started with fitting the backgrounds on to it....
and sorry i couldnt make it last week to the meeting I'll try to get there this week if there is one .....

hey.. been awhile..... for the next time u post, try to posy it on this forum not the other.......... its a little tricky.. all u need is a photo bucket account, i think u can figure it out.
